Responsibilities:
- Build/Maintain database systems of high availability and quality
- Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
- Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data to be recovered in the event of memory loss
- Protecting the database against threats or unauthorized access
- Reporting on metrics regarding usage and performance
- Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
- Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
- Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required
- Schedule and perform regular server maintenance
- Demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Demonstrate the ability to solve complex, multi-system problems
Mandatory Skills/Primary Skills:
- Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third party tools
- Knowledge of code versioning tools (preferably Git)
- Work experience in Data Visualization and Analyzing Tools (preferably Qlik Sense, Power BI)
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure)Key Requirements:
- Strong working knowledge in SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL/MSSQL ,Couch Db/Mongo DB preferably)
- Excellent Query writing skills and Query Optimization of legacy systems
- Strong working knowledge about
- Distributed Database Architecture.
- Excellent knowledge on industry standard DBA Tools and Db Monitoring tools
- Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security and integrity
- Problem solving skills and ability to think algorithmically
Qualifications
B. E / B. TECH, M.E/M.TECH, BSc, MSc, BCA, MCA With computer science & non computer science background.
